Alan’s career journey has been both diverse and rewarding. I began my professional path in personal training back in 2004. During this time, I honed my people management skills, setting and achieving goals for both my clients and myself. This experience laid a strong foundation for my future endeavours.

In 2015, I transitioned into the recruitment industry, specialising in Fire Risk, Fire Safety, Fire Engineering, Surveying, and CDM Technical recruitment. With over eight years of experience in this niche sector, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of professionals and clients in the consultancy sector.

My extensive experience in the sector enables me to fully understand candidates’ credentials, qualifications, and experience. This deep understanding allows me to provide you with a comprehensive insight into the industry and guide you towards the right opportunities.

I have worked closely with senior management, directors, and CEOs of multi-million pound turnover organisations. My role involves a thorough comprehension of my clients’ consultancy services and financial budgets, ensuring I deliver comprehensive services within the required recruitment budget. I pride myself on offering extensive advice, commercial acumen, and valued opinions to my clients.

Outside of my professional life, I’ve had some interesting adventures. I played (professional football!!) and was captain of the Black Lion pub team in Bramley, West Yorkshire, competing in Division D of the Leeds District Sunday League. My football career was memorable, to say the least—I decided to retire at the early age of 35 after scoring one goal and more own goals throughout my career. Let’s just say, the opposition strikers found it amusing to run circles around me before scoring! Additionally, I competed as a professional bodybuilder. Although my highest achievement was 4th place, I gave it my all and yes, I wore a lot of fake tan on stage! I retired from bodybuilding at the age of 28!
